Throughout my professional life, I have worked with countless artists in all stages of their career. As an art curator, my job has been to tell the story of the artist through the output they have created: I provide art historical context to the work, and this in turn provides greater meaning to each individual piece.

As an art dealer, my job has been to assign monetary value to the artworks. But you know what’s my weakness? I am unable to sell just any work. I have to believe in the artist’s story, the quality of the art, and the emotional resonance the artwork provides in order to sell work at its true value. In other words, I have to believe in the value in order to sell it (otherwise, I just feel like a car salesman, honestly!)

As an artist, how do you create art that others can believe in? Artwork that sells itself? This is where I can help. What I have learned from over 15 years of working in the art business, is that there almost always is a specific moment in the artist’s career when something finally just clicks, and the artwork starts to flow more naturally and the sales just take off.

The secret is … it’s not about learning a new technique, or better marketing. It’s about mindset. Artists who thrive have learned how to clearly articulate their artistic voice, present a cohesive narrative, price confidently, and show their work in a way that communicates value.

Together, through individual 1:1, 45minute sessions, we will not only take a look at your portfolio, but we will also go deep into the reason of why you create, and identify the hidden blocks that keep you from achieving the success you know you are capable of.
